Parks

Hamilton Township takes recreation seriously! Our largest park (the 'Hamilton Township Park') is located on the west side of Lockbourne Rd between Rathmell Rd and Rohr Rd, just south of the Hamilton Meadows housing development.

It is an expansive facility, which accommodates two football fields, two soccer fields, two baseball diamonds and a children's playground. There is also a concession stand, picnic tables, a recreational trail and access to Big Walnut Creek.

Youth athletics are handled by 'Hamilton Youth Athletics' (not affiliated with Hamilton Township) who offer a variety of team sports activities, which include football, soccer, baseball, softball and cheerleading for children of all ages.

Behind 6400 Lockbourne Rd is a smaller park nicknamed the 'Firetruck Park' because of the architecture of the children's playset. It features a covered picnic area with picnic tables and a large open field of grass to enjoy.

The parks are open from sunrise to sunset every day. So please come visit our parks and enjoy a picnic with your family, watch your child compete in an exciting sporting event or just take in some sun on a breezy summer afternoon. We'll see you there!
